Recommended Posts

You might be a JDM Ricer if... your steering wheel is on the left you refer to your civic dx hatch as a "CTR" your civic dx hatch is "type r yellow" your airbag no longer works because of an aftermarket or jdm steering wheel you have a JDM steering wheel on your LHD car you think "city lights" are useful you drive around town using only "city lights" you claim "city lights" can serve as fog lights you have black rims (steelies do not count) your car is an automatic your 5 lug conversion cost more than your car (or comes close to it) you have jdm ANYTHING on a coupe you refer to your 4 door as a 'ferio' your exterior and interior look bangin and could be mistaken for a CTR, but there’s still a d15 under the hood your "beater" could smoke your "clean jdm ride" you have "jdm" taillights which cost more than their usdm equivalents you have a 'jdm' front license plate you laugh at cars with wings that are faster than your car you laugh at cars with altezzas that are faster than your car you laugh at cars with body kits that are faster than your car nobody notices your jdm front or rear end usdm taillights could be easily modified to look "jdm" but you spent a ridiculous amount of money on the real thing anyway you bought "CTR" headlights you took the trouble to DIY black housing headlights, but left the amber reflector in there you have amber corner or bumper lenses that are not stock (i/e full amber corners) you think amber looks cool or matches your car in any way you think amber visions are JDM you realize they aren’t, buy apc clear corners, and swear you had them imported you sold your Honda for an early 90's 4 door Toyota corolla and try to be like initial d, not realizing only some corollas were RWD you spent more on amber corners than clears would have cost you have spoon or mugen performance parts on your stock d series engine your spoon or mugen performance parts cost more or come close to the cost of your engine swap you use takata harnesses for your stock seats you have gunmetal hubcaps you have a jdm gauge cluster you claim you bought your jdm gauge cluster for its tach you have an "SIR" cluster in your civic dx you bought a genuine "SIR" emblem you associate "clean" with JDM you associate "JDM" with clean your jdm front end is not painted your RHD conversion cost more than your car you daily drive your RHD car at toll booths you have to get out and walk to the left to give em the money you bought coupe doors for your hatchback so you could have power windows your hatchback or coupe weighs more than a 4 door you refer to your swap as "jdm" even though the block clearly reads B16A1, B16A2, B18C1, B18C5, etc you have a B18C from a gsr but tell people its a type r your jdm’d out civic hatch with mods costs more than an Integra type r you use JDM chassis codes when referring to USDM civics (i.e. EF instead of ED for 88-91 civics) you insist that you are still right when given the correct USDM chassis code jiffy lube cant figure out how much oil to put in because every factory Honda label on the underside of your hood is now in Japanese any of your exterior or interior mods cost more than a useful engine mod you spent so much on jdm exterior and interior mods that you are still rocking the stock stereo system you have a JDM stereo that doesn't read domestic CDs & doesn’t get any AM/FM stations your windows are not tinted because it might not be JDM you asked on a popular car forum which was more JDM, clear or tinted windows your muffler comes out the back of your car at a 45 degree angle your muffler also points upward in addition to the 45 degree angle you have a stock exhaust from a CTR on your civic dx. your helms manual is in Japanese you have an "option2" sticker on or in your FWD car that "option2" sticker is on your bumper at a slanted angle right where the exhaust is you have a roll cage but have never been to the track or autox you have "H" emblems on your Integra in addition to "H" emblems, your Integra still has a usdm front end you have "Integra" emblems on your RSX your 94-97 Integra has full amber bumper lenses and you have NOT done a 98-01 USDM conversion you have amber side markers you claim bad camber helps you drift you claim your suspension setup is "badass", upon closer inspection all you got is eibach 1.5's on stock shocks you rear ended someone, and drive around with a ****ed up jdm front end instead of putting your usdm front end that’s in your garage back on you get a flat tire and have to call your buddies to bring you a spare because your interior is guttedyou have spoon or mugen NON-performance parts like oil fill cap on your stock d series engine you ride around with no hood to show off your painted valve cover
