Hello Mr. Gibbs,Thank you for contacting us. You are not the first person to have ordered an Elise and has thought about switching to an Attack. I have a customer in Florida who just made the switch. The Attack starts as a kit, but is not a kit car in the traditional meaning. It is an affordable exotic that comes to us in a box with the frame already welded and all body panels molded andready for paint. We import the main components from Slovakia and assemble them here in the US. We are one of a handful of builders around the world offering this machine.Unlike the Elise or other production sports cars, our cars are completely custom. Our options are not limited to a typical spec sheet list. Building a completely original car couldn't be easier and more affordable.1. Once you place your deposit ($5000) a typical delivery time is 3.5 - 4 months.2. The engines used are the stock F22 2.2L SOHC (140 hp stock) and the optional H22A 2.2L DOHC VTEC (200 hp stock). Either engine can be turbocharged (may require internal engine upgrades) and engine management systems are available. We offer systems up to 400 hp. Other options are being considered from Ford's engine to a BMW option and the Honda V6 engine.3. 1/4 mile times are 14 sec, 60-0 in 100 ft, 0-60 roughly 5.5 sec with a stock 140 hp engine and stock brakes.4. Honda service centers may service the engines/transmissions. The rearsuspension and brakes are Honda, front is Audi.5. In Arizona probably a 2004 Attack. We provide a Certificate of Origin, Sales Receipt, Photos, and an appraisal for registration and insurance. Insurance is usually half of what a comparable production car would cost.6. We have not officially sold Attack in your area yet, but have apotential customer in Arizona. There is an Attack under construction in Oregon, about 1/3 complete.7. Yes, turnkey is ready to drive. We can arrange for shipping to your front door. We work with Stewart Transport in Phoenix.8. The interior would be black fiberglass and with an accent paint. Other options are leather, carpet...9. Financing is available through several banks. Check with one in your area to discuss possibilities. Larger banks and Credit Unions are more likely to lend. JJ BEST & BANC will finance and have online applications.10. The Attack has excellent side impact protection and is constructed of DOM tubing. It is a space frame somewhat similar to NASCAR frames. The seat belts are race belts and require more effort to get into, but are much safer than production car seat belts. The car is also very wide with a low center of gravity, ideal for handling and safety.Please let me know if you have additional questions and I'll be glad to assist you.
